Native Foodscape Foundation (NFF) was incorporated in September 2024 as a registered non-profit organization dedicated to transforming food systems and building climate resilience through research, training, and advocacy. We focus on empowering communities, particularly in hill and mountain regions, by bridging scientific innovation with traditional knowledge. We believe that revitalizing native foods and promoting sustainable agriculture are key to tackling global challenges such as climate change, malnutrition, and food insecurity. Our work is rooted in inclusivity, innovation, and the unwavering commitment to creating a better future for people and the planet.
To transform food systems by promoting the use of native foods, empowering communities with knowledge and skills, and fostering sustainable agricultural practices to ensure nutrition security and climate resilience.
A world in which indigenous foods play a pivotal role in restoring ecosystems, nourishing communities, and sustaining livelihoods, ultimately fostering a healthier planet and promoting a more equitable future.
