On 16th March 2026, our Director, Dr Chubbamenla Jamir participates as an expert in the inaugural roundtable for the Agri Maitri Project, hosted by Western Sydney University and CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (Jaipur). The event, titled "Reimagining Indo-Australian Agribusiness Collaboration: Industry, Policy and Market Pathways for Shared Value Creation" brought together a high-calibre cohort of leaders from government, industry, academia, and policy research.
The discussions were both excellent and insightful, reflecting a strong, collective commitment to deepening the agricultural trade partnership between India and Australia.
Supported by the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) through the Maitri Research Grant, this roundtable marks a significant first step. The calibre of the conversation confirmed that we are on the right track to building a resilient and prosperous agribusiness corridor.
We congratulate the hosting team for orchestrating a seamless and productive event and look forward to the coming days as the AgriMaitri Project takes off and moves toward implementation.
